There is something about all of the Hobo knives that I find fascinating. I couldn't even say why but I like them, but you have a very nice example there.
Good luck with the collection.

I found 3 of these the first week I started looking but was only able to but one of them. Since then I haven't seen any posted anywhere. I shouldn't have passed those others up.

There was a Russlock on Ebay a few weeks ago. I bid a lot of money but someone beat me out at the last second.

Late comment but that hobo looks more like something for fine dining.

You've got to learn the "sniping" technique yourself!

I did. It was at $85 and I bid $195 with 2 seconds left. Some guy with zero wins outbid me by a $1. That's about $50 more than I've seen one sell for.

My suggestion is to message the seller and identify yourself and the knife. Tell him that if the high bidder fails to pay, that you'd welcome a second chance offer. On my sales, zero feedback bidders/buyers are frequently non-payers.

Another thing with the someone winning with a buck more is you don't know what his high bid number was. He could have put in 250. It has happened to me before but I will put my high bid and if I get it great. A lot overbid just to say I won this on an auction
Good Luck on the hunt :D

All I need is the Russlock and the set will be complete. If anyone has one they are willing to part with I would appreciate it.

I also need a Box for the hobo. If anyone has a extra box that would be correct for this knife, I could purchase that to complete everything.

I plan on it. I'm hosting a BBQ/fireworks show for my church on the 4th so i'm kind of busy right now but I'll get it soon.
