Re: Knife Photography
I agree Doc
You have some of the best knife designs i'v seen Tony I need to pick up 1 or 2 from you in the near future. How much does this one run around? I also have a few Imperials needing to get redone in solid bolsters, liners, and nice scales. Either you could do it for me or one of the nice fellars on here. Anyway, again great work Tony!

Re: Knife Photography
San Antonio has over 1.4 million people, within the city and surrounding areas. We have no lake or surface water supplying that population. Our underground water source is the Edwards aquifer...and it's made up of this "holy" limestone. Never ceases to amaze me that it is large enough and has the capacity to supply so many people. We are not without our woes...during times of drought. This year hasn't been too bad. I'm amazed at the aquifer's capacity to "recharge" with rains.
Out on a morning walk...I'm also amazed at the vegetation surviving in the "holes"...weather has been near 100's an no rain for the last couple of weeks. We do need some rain. Still loving my T Wood, fixed (top knife).

A very nice blend of light and color. Is that a Mora John?
OOPs. Just returned here because I found the answer to my question in the other thread. Mora it is and looks very practical.

A friend asked me to make a begleri for him. After I finished it, I took my Spyderco Native 5 out of my pocket and laid it on the work table with the begleri for this photo.

Re: Knife Photography
The background for this picture is at the base of a remaining "core" of either a Ponderosa Pine or an Oak tree that is on my property. It is approx. 8' tall and approx. 4" in diameter. It is still a very, very HARD piece of wood. I have no intention of removing it. I can't even guess how old it is. Anyway, my Buck 119.

Thanks Mike, did you catch that reference to you? I've drooled over your 66 so many years it finally broke down all my resistance and I capitulated. All your fault. Thanks for turning me on to them.

Re: Knife Photography
You are welcome Ivory! It's a great pattern indeed...wish I could track down another, would be willing to trade away some of my other knives for another 66 Jack in just about any cover material...anybody holding??Ivoryman wrote:Thanks Mike, did you catch that reference to you?
