I make mostly swords, daggers and saex these days, but a decade or so ago I went through a tactical knife kick. Going through some old photos tonight I came across this. A buddy of mine had come to dinner and I showed him a small saex-knife. He joked, "You should make a tactical saex."
I decided to go him one better, and next time he showed up for dinner I put this in his hand- a tactical folding saex. He bought it on the spot.
I made a couple more over the next couple years, but my interests moved on. Still remember this one fondly though... mostly because of the look on his face when I handed it to him.
