When is it “good form” to buy more than one of these knives? Don’t want to jump ahead of others, but interested in buying multiples. So how long to wait to give all a chance?

There were 103 knives delivered according to the email Bryan sent and I received it 11:46 Pacific time this morning August 7.
I ordered mine immediately and notice that the store said there were "12+ in stock."
I looked at the listing just now on it still says there are "12+ in stock."

It appears they are not gone yet, I think the in stock counter only goes to 12 in the stores so no need to be super concerned yet, but it would not be surprising to me if they were gone by morning.

If anyone wants to order one, now is the time, I have no idea how many Bryan has left in the AAPK store.

Personally, to be fair I would send Bryan a PM saying I would like to buy a second knife if there are any left after the existing orders are filled. We do have members around the world and some of been sleeping since the original email came out. It would be nice if they had an opportunity to buy one also.

I just saw this post Saturday got the email this afternoon read it and ordered tonight man that was great timing. Also I would like to say thanks to any and all that made this knife possible I know SFO's especially those made for a club or forum can be a lot of work with little to no reward for those brave souls that take the reins of these type projects. So kudos to all involved.

Still over a dozen left. How many over a dozen? ::shrug::

I see them scrolling across the top of the page too.

Sometimes on certain websites you can find out by increasing the quantity of knives in your cart until it shows no more available. I've never tried it on AAPK. Just be sure to set your cart back to zero afterward.

I just checked and there are still some available. I guess they got kicked off the crawl at the top of the page by more recent listings. Here's a link that will take you to them.

What a great knife the Allegheny is;
1. Great size at 4 3/4"
2. Just love the Sabre ground blade
3. The worm groove Chestnut scales are super
4. The elegant fine threaded top bolster...one each end
5. Price. At $105 it is very reasonable
6. Beautifully presented in a very appropriate tube with COA
7. All in all we have a winner.
Many thanks Bryan for organising and supplying this wonderful knife, and so early in the year.

I received an email that they are on the move - about Thursday delivery I'm thinking. OH

On my soapbox......... ::stir::

I sure hope that the benefactors of this forum recognize that the small profit from the sale of these annual knives contributes to the AAPK order-as-a-whole which I believe is important to the longevity and fiscal health of this online community. I'm amazed that almost a week after these 103 knives went up for sale that 19 still remain available which means that 84 have been spoken for which probably translates to about 75-80 actual buyers. Now I know having been around here for a few moons that more that 75-80 people have benefited from AAPK and could afford this years annual knife but for some reason have decided not to pull the trigger. I ask that if you are on the fence about getting one that you consider what it might be like to browse your way to AAPK one morning to find our online community silent forever. Shocking - Yes. Probable - No. Possible - Absolutely.

Come on folks, let's get these remaining knives spoken for so that Bryan can focus his energy on other AAPK projects.

Off my soapbox.......... ::handshake::

Beautiful knives! Probably the best one yet. Not in the cards for me this year, but for those who can, it sure looks like a good deal on a great knife!

If my calculation is correct tomorrow will be one week since Bryan sent notification emails and posted the 2019 Forum knives for sale in the AAPK store. IMHO after a week (after tomorrow) would be fair game to buy more than one if you're so inclined. JMO
