Newest Case Pick-Ups

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

Great looking set of Case knifes!!! ::oh_my:: ::tu:: ::tu:: ::tu:: ::tu:: ::tu::

I just picked this up at auction, haven't received it yet. It's my first 4 blade stockman (including the punch). Do you think this is an -18 or -47? I'm hoping a -47 because that was one of the first patterns I started collecting. Looks like it could be a USA era stamp too. These are the auction house's pictures.

Great pickup red! Definitely a 47. I don't think they made the 4 blade in an 18 pattern. ::tu::

If anyone can help with info on this Case it's someone here. I recently acquired this Case branded pewter box with MOP inlay. It is also available with abalone but that's all I know.

Took some pictures of the 64047 P and an 8(?) Dot Cheetah I recently picked up. Price and Zalesky say the Delrin Cheetah is a 7 Dot but I'm pretty sure this is Delrin and at least 8 Dots. The -47 pattern 4 blade has been getting some pocket time, it's a great EDC. ::ds::

1967redrider,
I believe me and you can count at least 8 dots. :) Nothing like a good old Case knife, that 47 ought to fit well in your pocket, if there is room. :)
I found this 3137CV at the bottom of the bay the other day. I usually don't mention price but sometimes that just makes the deal feel better. I thought $12 was a pretty good deal.

Nice find, treefarmer. Took some pictures of the 64047P along with a Muskrat and 6347, all USA era knives, and they all measure up the same (same number of springs and brass spacers, etc.). I'm hoping in time the 4 blade's scales will shine up more like the other two, we shall see.

Sticking with my long-time Mini T theme, but this one has a new twist: slanted bolsters.
