Can anyone shed some light on this knife? I've done a little looking, but can't find anything, especially the tooth design.
Blade = 8 ¾ ".....OAL = 13 ½" (approx on both)
I can make out "UNIVERSAL" over MADE IN USA. Something may be on top of UNIVERSAL. nice wood,..maybe rosewood.
Thanks!

"Universal" was a brand name used by Landers Frary & Clark. The used it on small appliances and other household goods as well as cutlery.
Yours looks like a bread knife to me.

Should be LF&C. I believe I've seen similar knives designated to cut frozen meats.

Given the gap on those teeth, cutting frozen meat makes sense.

Thanks for the input. I've never seen serrations like that before, but a meat cutter kinda makes sense. Again, appreciate your time, and have a great upcoming week!
