Great bombing! A cool and appropriate knife. I’m a sucker for those little flashlights. I don’t know about yours, but mine has an actual on/off, one of the few flat keychains that does. Bright, too.

Well look what I got "Bombed" with,bomb_1f4a3.png not the cup, but the keychain tool. If you can't read it, it's one of the old slogans, "NAVY, It's not just a job, it's an adventure." Being well aware of my Navy roots, my good friend Scott in Florida bombed me with this little jewel and he added a thumb flashlight.
Thank you very much Scott, much appreciated and a complete surprise.

At todays meeting of the Stingy Creek Knife Collectors Club here at my house, two of our esteemed members finally got to open what has become a "time bomb". A mysterious box from Canada arrived in my mailbox a few weeks ago addressed to my granddaughters, Abbi and Autumn. Unfortunately it arrived just before I was set to fly off across the country for a vacation. I've been back home a week now but today was the first chance I've had to spend any time with these two young ladies and consequently the first chance they've had to open the mysterious package from the north. Inside they found two very cool knives each, a pair of cute stuffed bears and some very interesting cards along with a nice note. All this was a bomb from Zoogirl here on AAPK and was greeted with much excitement from the recipients.
Ann thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful gifts to my gals. They were absolutely thrilled, and knowing their gifts came from another country seemed to just add to their excitement. As you can see from the photos the knives have already become a permanent part of their collections.

I’m just glad the girls liked their ‘bomb’.
Since I feel like the only girl in the Fort, with the exception of MarieCrow’s flybys, it seemed appropriate to encourage the young ladies.
I actually found out about them and their collections way back in the early spring. Phil mentioned them over on the Diner.
I thought a couple of little Richards Mounties might make a good start. It’s my brand and of course the Mountie is such an iconic symbol up here. Then I acquired a Canada multi knife and a Vancouver. In those went. I got the two teddies around Canada day when the stores were souvenir crazy. Last was the postcards - a polar bear cub and twin black bear cubs, to match the stuffies, and a pair of Vancouver cards.
Off went the Great Northern Missile!
Of course, it’s the incredible kindness I’ve been shown here that got me started. Hopefully, one day the girls will be happily filling little boxes of their own and sending them all over the country and the world. It’s a good feeling!

Oh my, I have such a hard
time visualizing this fine gentleman paying the cashier thinking, Scott's gonna get one of these.

Scott, you can use your "bomb" to chop up swamp cabbage, give the boys a taste of real "Heart-O-Palm" salad or boil them up a big pot of swamp cabbage.
