Awesome looking two Bucks. I really like the looks of that 503. Leaves my mouth watering...and spittle dripping down my chin.

Very nice Rick - some great stuff coming out of Buck’s Custom Shop. OH

Thanks Bruce and I agree. Something in Buckeye Burl is on my wish list for early next year.

Byrd, that’s a real clean example of a two dot Buck 112 - nice pickup! OH

Actually it's not minty...what you see is several hours of polishing with diamond stones and finer grits of paper. The blade was in bad shape from improper sharpening. I cleaned it up quite a bit to become a "user".

I like what you did with it. It’s headed towards being a flat grind. And the sharpening choil was well executed. It will be a fine user for sure.

Good eye eveled. That's exactly my goal with it.

Found this 110 last week in a pawn shop, mixed in with some Bear knives. No sheath/holster. Don't think it's ever been sharpened.
Why? Cause the price was right.
Have a blessed day,
Leon

Received this in the mail today. I didn't have a 'new' stockman, so decided to go all "Merry Christmas" on myself. These are stock photos from BuckKnives site. It's the 301 Buck of the Month for December. I'm quite well pleased

My newest Buck. A 117 braved the weather to come to my house. This could become my favorite EDC. It's a baby 119. Buck sharp.

The 117 is a GREAT all around knife, Byrd. Nice use of the snow to get perspective.

4.5" blade. Just about perfect when it comes to fixed blades, in my opinion. The Mora I carry for farm work is 4". Thus, I'll be picking up one of these eventually.
Re: Whats your newest addition to your Buck family and why?
Found a 105 here for $25 shipped, and bought it just now. Will need to get a sheath, but it's not too beat up, and is 440C. While a smidge bigger than the 117, I couldn't pass it up for the price. From my experience, the only thing Buck uses today that is comparable in edge retention(other than S30V and D2, of course, which I don't have) is CPM154 used on the SK Blades exclusives. Sharpen it once, lasts a long time.
Re: Whats your newest addition to your Buck family and why?
You'll like that 105. I've been carrying my new 117 all day instead of my 112 and don't even know it's there. Might handy knives!
