Winchester Zippo
My newest Winchester isn't a knife, but a Zippo. Anyone know anything about lighters? I picked this up in its used but totally functional condition for $20. I haven't seen one like this before, including a picture of the "ZIPPO Bradford PA" stamp on the bottom. Added flint and fluid and it fired right up. It will definitely get some pocket time.
Pocket, fixed, machete, axe, it's all good!

It looks like yours is from 1977.

Re: Winchester Zippo
So this one would be 1965 I guess?

Re: Winchester Zippo
I am sure you probably know this, but some may not. Zippo owns W. R. Case and Sons Cutlery, also made in Bradford PA. Two great American companies in my opinion.

If that actually is one "dot" then yes, it's from 1965.
Here is a more general dating chart.

Thanks again, Skip!
With the way Case does their dating system, the one Zippo uses is not surprising.

Re: Winchester Zippo
I think the thing I like most about this lighter is its compact size. A much slimmer profile compared to the Black Ice Zippo I was previously carrying. And it's easier on lighter fluid.
