Show off your favorite GECs!
Re: Show off your favorite GECs!
Wrong picture again those are 2 # 362210STL and the middle one is A 362209DP Genuine Stag . Posting these pictures from my cell phone and when I go to the device storage it shows me a line of pictures that are about 1/4" in size, even with a magnifying glass I usually pick the wrong one. Adog.

Re: Show off your favorite GECs!
Only 3 of these were made with stag in 2011 ? And you own all three !
Any thoughts on current market value of a stag #36 ?
I was asked if i wanted to sell my 2009 stag #36 (shown on previous page). I don't, but the fellow offered me what i think is too low and he thought my assessment of value was far too high. So i'm asking here. What do you think these are worth ?

Well I am like you I don't want to sell any of these, the last one of the three came pretty dear. But I have three grandsons so they can each have one. The prices that big GEC Stag have been getting is really going up, as I don't sell only collect I'm not a good person to place a value on knives , I've probably paid to much for some of mine, but there were other bidders driving the price, here are some Stag Whalers five Burnt Stag And the bottom is Genuine Stag, Adog

Here is a 362209DP Exterior Mammoth Ivory and a 362211STL Mammoth Ivory serial number 13 , the production total page showes only 12 made but I think that they make them as material comes available. These are some of my favorite knives for sure. Adog

Re: Show off your favorite GECs!
Adog, you have the Great collection of Big Stag GEC knives. Very impressive. Some years ago there was a Stag #46 on ebay that sold for $1200. If a collector wants one of these now they will have to spend Big Bucks. I think the 36 & 45/46 are the most expensive GEC patterns.

Re: Show off your favorite GECs!
This just keeps getting more amazing. You definitely should keep these knives stored in a big heavy safe bolted to the floor.
Thank you for showing them.
I am humbled by comparison with my meagre group of GECs.

Here is the most unbelievable video I've ever seen on GEC collecting. He goes on and on dishing on them and GEC and then even says he doesn't know why anyone would carry a traditional knife? Really? With hundreds of years and millions of people carrying them, people still can't figure it out. Amazing how dense some can choose to be. And this guy, who calls himself "Advanced Knife Bro", is sitting there with several in front of him. Can't see the forest for the trees. You can take someone to the GEC water, but you can't make them drink.

I carry traditionals because I love them. They do everything I ever ask of them. Never get tired of seeing new traditionals and here's another one. Hats off GEC. Another fabulous, flawless piece. 2021 just got a little better thanks to a little help from Gunstock Jacks.

Re: Show off your favorite GECs!
Nice ones garddogg56. The #44 Gunstock was not that popular when it first came out but it is an excellent Traditional pattern and GEC did a perfect job making these. Is the other one a #15 ?
