On Craigslist Spokane there is a WW2 Collins fighting knife. If it's real (I think it is) it's a bargain. I can't find my Knife magazine article about them. If anyone here goes after it keep us posted. Thanks

I'm surely no authority on straight knives but I looked at it and feel a little iffy about the piece. Not commenting on it's authenticity, just looks like someone's been working on it. Handle rivets are kinda rough etc. Just my buyers eye I guess. Good luck. J.O'.

Checked a reference book and some were made with steel riverts. That's a pretty good price considering it has the original #13 marked sheath. If I was within driving distance I would try to get it. Might even get some discount off the listed $250 price.
