My Fourth Friction Folder
I have made four friction folders and have improved every time. I wish i had some real creative talent. I guess they will do for personal use. The handle is Peruvian Alder and the bolster is Rose wood. The blade is from a saw blade. I am going to make a sheath for it because i don't think it would be comfortable in my pocket. Thanks for looking. Brent

Hey Brent,
I think you show a lot of talent.
I like the file work a lot.
I admire anyone who can create something like you have. I'm curious about the edge holding ability of that blade. Have you put it to work yet? I bet it sharpens up like a razor!
Great Job.

thanks for the kind words. The saw blade is hard and hard to sharpen. I think if i can get it razer sharp it will hold that edge. I am still working the angle to get that edge.

the closed length is about four inches not including the tail that sticks out. the sheath will be as long as a fixed blade sheath.
