Thanks ,Yep that's the one. I have only seen maybe 4 others in collections and 3 them were different then this one . This one sold what may seemed at a high price but there were least two others that I know brought well over $100+ more.Not to mention they extremely rare and one may only show up every few years. I had hoped to perhaps find least one in my lifetime. Some the old ads and other ephemera I have of Press Button knife Co. has been harder to find then some the knives. Yet there's examples of Press Button knives out there that I may never find but I keep my hopes up. Here are two I was very lucky to find a 3 3/8" double with safeties in tortoise cell and a 3 11/16" "M Jack " double with safeties. Until this example was found no one had seen a example with safties in the larger double . It was once believed that the doubles with safeties may have only been prototypes . The 3 11/16" M. Jacks are probably at the top of my list of favorite Press Buttons made. I hope to one day find a example in each blade combination that was offered.

When I first started collecting knives as an adult in 1988, I went through a box of knives at an antique show at a local mall.

Regrettably, I passed on a slim two blade pearl handled Press Button. The knife had no bolsters. Both blades still worked, although the smaller one did not open completely.

The blades were full. The pearl was unbroken.

As I recall, the knife was priced at $90.00.

I knew next to nothing about Press Button's history at the time.

I had someone give me a Pearl Press Button 3 3/8" double for Easter . I was really surprised . The pearl Press Buttons can be hard to find. I'm still looking for a nice example in the 2 7/8" size

How about this Miller Brothers stock certificate!!! I was really lucky to get this one!!

Here is my latest find. I had about a half hour to kill in a small town that I work in on Sunday's and found a small indoor flea market that just opened and figured what the heck let me go see if I can find anything. There was one dealer that had bunch of old bill-heads and other paper items mostly from the area of Binghamton. I have seen 4 Binghamton Cutlery knives in the years that I have been collecting and I own 3 of them but like jerk sold the other one. This is only the second ephemera item that I have ever seen from this company and and I am so happy to have found it there!!

I bought an old knife box from the group of Rhett Stidham's collection on ebay. The box is an Electric Cutlery box with a spring for holding a knife when it was displayed. I will post the box in the thread for boxes but in the box were 2 original wrappers! Can't believe they lasted all these years.
