Here is a 2 7/8” Challenge. Please note the thick center steel liner that terminates into a solid end cap that is rounded. The bottom bolster is slightly bell shaped. I’m not sure, but I’ve often wondered if this design was intended to allow copper rivets to be hammered closed. I have no way to really know.

Recent pick up: Keen Kutter Harness Jack 3 1/2" closed.
Has pattern number etched on back of master blade. It's difficult to read, I think it's K79498.
