Thanks, Scott, The top knife is an Orvet modified Robeson Pocketeze. He removed the small blade, rehandled in smooth red bone and added and EO notch.

The bottom is a custom Muskrat Man knife with L6 steel and walrus oosik handles.

I posted this in the Robeson Cutlery Company thread, but I'll post it here as well.

I just got this little Robeson EO from AAPK's Roger Cunningham.

The knife is smaller than the usual 3 3/4" Robeson 027 EO and measures only 3 3/8".

Its pattern number is 622277.

The master has a partial etch, "...ELMAN & BECHTEL".

I was not aware this pattern even existed. I showed it to Pete Cohan. He's never seen one either.

That is a great looking group!

I picked this one up at the OKCA show before Perry got there, Friday I think it was.

According to Goins' the tang stamp puts it at 1905-1936.
It is yet another example of a German shell handled knife made before Imperial started making shells here in the USA (c. 1936).

I have seen this type knife before, with no wording on the handle or the words "BOYS KNIFE."
This is the first one I have seen that said "BOYS EASY OPENER."

Despite the short blade and the missing lanyard loop, I think it is pretty cool.

Yep, I got to see this one in person and it is very cool! You always seem to find the cool stuff hiding beneath the surface.
