My pleasure Doug!
Roland, I'd be surprised if there were more than three or four knives from each pattern made.

Doug, that's amazing! Thanks for showing the pics, I've never seen the completed model with all the bling. We did the knives at the shop, then sent them to Colt to be emblazoned with the blade etch and handle signature, but until today I'd never seen what that looked like. Very Nice!

Eric, Thanks, it's a handful at 11-3/4" overall. It also came with a black fitted sheath embossed the same as the tang stamp. I found one that is in stock and currently for sale at American Edge. https://www.americanedgeknives.com/cana ... fe-ct1873/

That is a Beauty Doug.
I have one of those without the Etching and Signature as well.
I am also fortunate enough to own one of the Tang Stamps too....big Ole Tang Stamp.

Re: Latest Canal Street Additions
Thanks for posting those pic's Tom. It sure is a well made knife, but then I haven't found a Canal Street that isn't. Tony was saying that there was one like yours on Ebay just the other day, wish he had told me before the auction ended. I just might have to modify that display and turn it into a wall hanger...I've run out of room to set things. Guess it's a good thing I've decided to sell off a few knives.
Thanks to everyone for the kind comments, they are much appreciated.

Re: Latest Canal Street Additions
Well today I received my my third vintage CSC folding pocket knife... officially designating me as a Canal Street Cutlery collector...
(I'm not counting the recently acquired Co-op pinchback I received a couple of months ago.)
Actually I rather fancy the pattern... a first for me... a Doctor's knife... but the real reason I went for it is because of the Amber Jig Bone handles... also a first for me...

Okay... please excuse my ignorance here... but what is the second blade used for on this pattern?

Nice acquisition KAW.
The spatula blade was used for a couple of things. It was used to scoop a small amount of powdered medication and it was also used to slide pills across the surface as they were counted and put into a container.

Sweeeet knife there doglegg... I've been eyeing those Canittlers, but have yet to pick one up...
BTW... just how does one pronounce "Canittler"? Does not exactly roll off the tongue for me...

Just say ittler like whittler then put a can in front of it. At least I think that's how to pronounce it.
