Re: Mammoth Scales Showcase
I believe these may qualify as the least attractive mammoth scales I have encountered.

Re: Mammoth Scales Showcase
Here's my 1st mammoth handled knife. I usually collect Schrade brand knives but over time I have branched out to collecting any knives scrimshawed by Bill Feeney as well. This '80s Parker knife with paperwork (including tusk carbon-dating) and display was deal priced at $50USD. I couldn't resist!
I don't always respond to great posts but I always appreciate seeing them. Thanks for posting!

Those scales must have come from a magnificent beast.

Kris...you NEVER cease to amaze me with the exceptional beautiful knives you have. They all make me drool, slobber and drip all over myself.
Here's my one and only Mammoth I opened my wallet for several months ago. It was too good to pass up at the time and I got a pretty good deal on it. I've posted it before, but I want to 'show it off' once again.
It's a #99 like Q's.

Re: Mammoth Scales Showcase
Thank you, Garry...it is one of my most prized pieces. And the photos do not do it justice. I don't always go for the 'high end' knives, but when I do, I do it right.
