This one is kind of an odd one. It had a small blade instead of an awl.
There are lots of other variations. 3 blade stockman, castration knives are pretty common. Also electrician and dura tool models that used the same dimple pattern on their stainless handles.

I know this thread is a couple years old, but would you happen to know if your knife with the 2 blades & a punch/awl has a tang stamp that just says USA? The USA is a large heavy stamp & not Made In USA like Kingston used. Thank you,
John

I have 2 of those (2 blade and awl knives) both are unmarked. I have a 4 blade knife without an awl that has the USA stamp. (It is not the same one from my earlier post). It was the only one I found in my accumulation.
Do you have any thoughts on that stamp? I always assumed Kingston.

Thank you for the pictures.
I don’t have any idea on that USA stamp, but I wish I did. Every Kingston I have seen has had Made In USA if there was a tang stamp. Now that being said, I have only been into these knives for about 1 1/2 to 2 years.

Okay guys, are these knives considered MIL-K knives? Were these civilian or military? Any idea of how to figure out when they were made? I have seen some with 3 blades, some with 2 blades & an awl. I have seen some with a tang stamp of only USA, and some completely unmarked. I have not seen one of these with a bail yet. I did read through this section before asking this.
As always thanks for any help,
John

Is the "48" the pattern number or the year made? Were there Ulster- 67s?

The 48 on this one is the year made. Same as the Kingston-45 & Stevenson-45.
