Thanks, never really examined the handle that closely ::hmm::

Extra nice sheaths on these.

I think these are great knives and I would like to own one. I saw one last weekend at the flea market. I asked the guy how much. He said $145. I said "thanks, I'll pass" I bought other things from him before. He is NOT a knife guy. NOT a collector, not interested in knives other than to make a buck. He is a that guy that goes to yards/estate sales and buys cheap and looks everything up on the phone. The phone tells him what everything is worth and he wants no less than a top Flea-Bay price. So I passed. Out here at the flea market you want more of a "Flea-market price"

The hunt can be frustrating. It is not all warm and fuzzy. I don't buy much any more; it has gotten a little offensive out there.

I picked up a couple of new knives in this thread's theme ::nod:: One is a beauty and one a stinker... but I will clean up the stinker and throw it in the car or a tool box or back-pack.

This fixed blade knife arrived among a group or lot of pocket knives that I purchased. It now becomes my first example to be posted under this topic or thread. This particular fixed blade knife was NOT the target of my purchase. However, it did turn out to be a keeper. It will be added to my general, fixed blade knife accumulation. It is a Normark, one blade, one stamp, 9" overall length, fixed blade knife. The knife stamp says "© N CORP 1967" One handle side says, "Normark" with a logo or symbol. The knife came with a leather sheath and belt hanger. The sheath measures 12" overall length, including the hanger. The sheath is marked "NORMARK" with a logo or symbol. The knife is in VERY GOOD condition. The sheath is in GOOD condition. I took some pictures and here they are.

A few days ago, this pocket knife arrived in a group or lot of pocket knives that I purchased. It now becomes my latest example to be posted under this topic or thread. I did NOT purchase the group or lot of pocket knives to obtain this particular pocket knife. However, it definitely turned out to be a keeper. It will be a welcomed addition to my general, "foreign born", pocket knife accumulation. It is an E K A "51 1/2", two blades, two tang stamps, 2 3/4" closed, one spring, pocket knife. The main blade front tang stamp says, "E K A (over) SWEDEN" The secondary blade front tang stamp says, "51 1/2" Both handle sides are decorated with GORGEOUS designs. The main blade has a soft half stop, a good opening snap and a good closing snap. The secondary blade also has a soft half stop, a good opening snap and a good closing snap. Overall, this pocket knife is in EXCELLENT condition. It did NOT require any cleaning at all. I just wiped it off. I took some pictures and here it is.
