I may have already mentioned this.
We had a 92 F150 Supercab with a 300 Six and 5 Speed manual.
My Goodness what an engine!
Back several pages there were a white and a red 60s Pontiac.
Those and late 60s Oldsmobiles hit me where I live!
At this point in life look is all I can do.

I had a '91 F-150, regular cab long bed, with that engine and transmission. That old 300 was a real torque monster!

Here’s a few pics from the car shop the other day . The Winton and Maxwell brass era are in Iowa on a car club cruise with some of the guys . So Pops and I cleaned up the joint a little ,took some pics and closed up for the weekend. The 1969 Chevy CST with 27000 actual miles ,factory buckets and console which is unusual as most had the bench seat. Then a Frame off restoration on a 1933 Packard Victoria 2 dr convertible . The V12 and tranny has been completely gone thru. Was surprised that the pistons on this motor are very small diameter compared to the late 20 s pistons . Brother wants to paint it black not Packard Green Black. Then we have various pics of the 46 Lincoln continental w12 cylinder. This Car was Dads when he passed and will stay with family as long as I can keep bro from selling it. And if that happens will buy it back he runs the finances so will see. The Locomobile am going thru the head and entire upper end stuff . Will lap valves ,install seats and seals here in house waiting on parts for that one . The cream and tan 4 dr Packard is waiting on our guy up North to finish up tranny and clutch. The 28 Lincoln Phaeton is brothers baby ,like me with the Lincoln he will eventually take that one home . So there’s the latest from the car shop.
Car shows are winding down up here. Was a lot of nice stuff Crusing around the Valley this year. How about by you all out there? Anyone have any more vehicles to show. Or latest pinstripe job or drag race ?
Local car club is having drags at the airport today. I would like to go and watch but knowing me I’d drop them. 5’ver and try it with my Mini. But my luck at Autocross the last 2 times cost me around a grand each time so I better stay away! But I do know it will lay rubber in 2nd gear.
Love seeing all the pictures!
If any of you are ever in NW Iowa be sure to check out Okoboji Classic Cars. It is a working restoration shop and car museum.

Hey Boji, think the guys that took the brass era stuff hooked up with some of the folks from Okoboji shop. Talked to Brother earlier as he was having trouble with the Winton Clutch. Which is all brand new so walked him thru setting free travel and he said the guys from Iowa helped and loaned tools to get some free play . Jeff said very pleasant bunch and that we’re invited down this winter for a tour of there shop . Will find out more when they roll in tomorrow.
Thanks for the tip. If we get down there this winter will be looking to see some of you folks from Iowa and Illinois ,and maybe hook up?

Thank you for sharing Rip & John! Haven't managed to hit any shows this year, been busy on the farm.

Couldn't agree more gents; that combo is one of the legendary setups, even a diehard Chevy guy can not but love.
Sure is a shame they ended production, that's one motor that just can't die in are hearts and minds. When they say "newer is better", not all the time are they correct, to say the least...

I don't know any of the shop guys but I do know the owner, he was a couple of years ahead of me in school.
Here is a link to the website. If any of you ever get this way be sure and let me know and we can get together and shoot the breeze.

If you guys have wondered about my interest in cars, this morning I tried to remember all that I have owned or had extended driving privileges. I came up with over 40. Everything from Corvettes, Austin Healeys to Suburbans and a F350. And a Harley. Years from 1954 to 2015. Interesting memories!

Boji . That’s a part of the Car,Truck,m/cycle thing for us here as well. Remember first mini bike then Honda, then sporster
then big twin and a pile of cars and pickups in between. So many memories. A few unfortunately not good as it has taken its toll on some .
And we still have years to make some more.
Thanks for sharing some of your interests. We could talk awhile on this topic. Take down there
