Re: Late Remington Damascus Bullet knifes
It could be blue. I have a blue handled baby bullet that was an NRA 2004 commemorative knife.
That is interesting on the 1994 secret service knife. They must have repurposed some they had from their 1990 version that I have.

Re: Late Remington Damascus Bullet knifes
I did some further research on that blue handle 2009 barlow and confirmed it is a blue jigged bone damascus knife. While doing that research I actually found additional 2009 knives that I have added to the list. I found a total of 7 variations of the 2009 Damascus Barlow. I also have added some additional sales meeting knives to the list (and possibly others since the last link). Over 230 knives on my list now. Most updated list link below.

So that means I’m missing approximately 25-30 knives we know of then. You are missing at least two I have. One is a plain red handle 2004 that looks like the dale Earnhardt knife but with no adornments except the bullet and the other is a 2016 with engraved bolsters

Added the 2016 engraved. Is the red one you have a factory second? Only one I've found online is a facotry second without the 8 on the handle but still has the blade etch. Tang stamp is ground off.WKBurns wrote: ↑Sun Mar 22, 2026 3:50 pm So that means I’m missing approximately 25-30 knives we know of then. You are missing at least two I have. Also for 1996 was there a silver bullet? Im only tracking the trailhand with the bullet shield, round shield and a sales meeting knife with round shield.

Re: Late Remington Damascus Bullet knifes
No it is not a factory second. Has tang stamp and just has Remington on the blade. The red handle is polished smooth unlike the number 8 knife that is slightly textured.
There was no silver bullet in 96.
On a side note I just bought this 2010 today. It is a shot show knife.

Thanks! ill have to see if I can find a photo of that Red one to add but I did put it on the list. After I posted the updated link earlier today I continued doing more research and I found Shot show knives for 2002, 2006-2010, and 2012-2014. I also have found Sales meeting knives from 1991through 2010. Ill have to post yet another updated link. The list is up to 246 variations now.

On a serious note I want to thank everyone for jumping in and compiling the list of knives. Volted15 has done an exceptional job with his list with the addition of pictures. When I’m home again I will take better pictures of some of the ones I have as I can tell he zoomed in on my general photos. It sure has helped me to know what additional ones I need to look for. I hope this is helpful to a lot of people enjoying the hobby as well and hopefully we can help each other out in locating knives we need.

It's been fun putting the list together! It's like digitally collecting the whole set haha. I think I only have around 30 of the real ones. I've only been collecting them since December though. Posting yet another updated link. The list is over 250 now.WKBurns wrote: ↑Mon Mar 23, 2026 12:39 am On a serious note I want to thank everyone for jumping in and compiling the list of knives. Re: Late Remington Damascus Bullet knifes
I am tracking Bowen Knife Co started in 1973 and was sold off to David Pittman and moved to AR in 2002 due to the death of Mr William Bowen. To my knowledge the first Remington Authorized reproduction was the 1976 R1123 (Outsourced to Queen Cutlery) and then the R1306 & R1306B (Made by Bowen). These knives ran from 1976 to 1979. Bowen is most noted for the Blackie Collins Belt Buckle knife for singer Billie Joel. I have seen other Bowen knives that are of the same exact pattern but are stamped Bowen Atlanta GA or Blackshear GAvolted15 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 26, 2026 11:28 pm It's been fun putting the list together! lol hell you guys correct me about once a week on new knives! I only have a couple Bowens. This one and two beautiful stag handle ones. One is a large trapper and the other is a baby trapper but the smaller one doesn’t have a bullet on it.
