Here's some Moose antler you don't see very often on knife handles (in fact, this is the only Moose knife handle I've ever seen).

This is an Ivoryman custom knife made from a Moose tine that he found, IIRC. Nice fat chunk of Moose that fills the hand and is easy to grip. Both beautiful and functional--love this knife!

I think I have a pretty serious case of Stag Fever because no matter how much stag I acquire, I'm never satisfied and I'm constantly on the hunt for more. (Seems I got the "long-haul" symptoms--the kind that never go away and for which there is no known cure.) ::uc::

Here are my latest acquisitions:

A custom made, Damascus, "Woodcraft" style made for me by master smith, Frank McGowan of Sykesville, Maryland. The stag was recycled from an 1880's? vintage Sheffield carving set. My only custom knife. J.O'.

There are just so many beautiful examples on this thread. All of you have wonderful examples of stag. I guess I will only comment on LA's Bulldog stag because I am partial to the brand. I love how BD, as in this example, runs the stag all the way up to the bolsters. Fine workmanship.
