Mike, that is a beauty. The ivory sets it off against those black handles. Congrats.

I just bought a Wostenholm that looks exactly like your Ulster Mike, except mine has a bone spur.

A rainy day here in Elmira. Think I’ll show some Ulster patterns. First is a MOP handled gentleman’s knife that looks to be unused.
Second is a swell center, pocket worn pick bone moose. I’ve only seen my knife in this pattern but I hope a member may have one to share pictures of. Last one is a bone handled senator which has a nice (Ulster brand) etch on the blade.

What years were OLD TIMER's made by SCHRADE and what years by ULSTER ? Did they overlap?

My latest knife purchase , a 3 1/2” jack with beautiful bone handles. Model # 2878. There is a faint etch on the main blade (Ulster Trade Mark).
Tang stamp is Ulster Knife. Steel liners. Thanks to Mike (Galvanic) for letting buy it.

I understood the Tobacco promotion ran for a few years in the early to mid 60's, J'O'. The little knife you have was part of the promotion. It should be a 58OT. I hunted them all down years ago, like I'm sure a bunch of us did. I had fun looking for them. Here's my little collection with the tin..

Got this ULSTER USA 63 whittler given to me today. Have no idea of age or anything else about it, so any information is appreciated. I am not a whittler guy and only have a few older ones. This to me is unusual as the master blade is Sabre ground on one side and flat ground on the other. Another unusual thing to me is to 2 auxiliary blades are positioned as a typical 3 blade stockman arrangement and not the usual position of typical split back whistler. This is not a split back. For the life of me I can't remember the name of the sheep's foot style blade on a whittler.

Here are my twelve ULSTER 63 pocket knives and my one ULSTER 9630 pocket knife. Divided between the twelve ULSTER 63 pocket knives, and the one ULSTER 9630 pocket knife, there are five different tang stamps or tang stamp combinations. Despite how they may look in the pictures, there are only two ULSTER 63 pocket knives that have black handles. Two ULSTER 63 pocket knives are missing their shields and the two ULSTER 63 pocket knives with black handles have no shields by design. I do NOT know much about the ULSTER 9630. It does NOT appear to be any different than the ULSTER 63 pocket knives. ALL of these ULSTER pocket knives have been previously posted. But, not under this topic or thread.
