Just finished this hammered spoon. The back of the bowl is chipped, making it look hammered and not sanded.....I just thought it
was cool to leave it like that.....
I tried doing a coffee scoop. Got the right fill amount but had to go deep since the block was so narrow. The sides are pretty thin, but short of breaking through. LOL

It was just a basswood block. I’ve got some butternut that would be nice to try with, but I don’t think it’s thick enough for a deep spoon.
