Love the handle on that Eriksson! Laminated steel?
Never seen any of the Chicago Cutlery folders in the package before. Most I've seen are used (and pretty beat up).

Here are a few finds this week. I had a Wild Boar before...

seems like it was made in Japan...

anyone know where this might be made? The Buck has a pretty worn down blade but I am a sucker for rope knives..

and the spike is what gets used the most when I carry one.

Good looking group TD. Wild Boar Knives was established in Toutle, Washington by Ray Simonson in 1995. Some of their early knives were made in Japan, but later and even today they are made in China.

Went by my local Tractor Supply to pick up a few things today, and while I was there decided to look at the knife display. They still had a 2021 Case 6347 with the Barn Shield on display, I hadn't gotten one yet so decided to get it. You can never have enough Barn Shields. When I asked the girl at the register to pull me one out, she told me to wait, she had to get the manager. He came up, and said the one on display was the last one they had, and he didn't have the box because someone during the holidays had restocked some different knives and didn't know you were supposed to keep the empty boxes. But he said he would let me have it (if I wanted it) and give me a 15% discount. So now it is getting some pocket time with me.

That's a great find. I've said it before, and i"ll say it again. One thing Case excel at is their jigged bone. And will get better with pocket time.
