As I Previously Stated, I Enjoy Reading Many Different Perspectives Or View Points On The Holocaust.
The Last Book I Posted, Was From The Perspective Or View Point Of Rudolph Höss, The SS Kommandant At Auschwitz.
THIS Book Is From The Perspective Or View Point Of A Revisionist.
This Edition Is The Ninth Printing, And It Is From 1993.

Picked up this historical novel yesterday at Ollies, set in the Napoleonic War, tough to put this one down!

Joe, I like the format they did on the book. With the book open, a full page of reading is on the left, while on the right are pictures of campers and their gear. The pics from 1925 are interesting in how people went camping in Model T Fords.

Joe, I like the format they did on the book. With the book open, a full page of reading is on the left, while on the right are pictures of campers and their gear. The pics from 1925 are interesting in how people went camping in Model T Fords.
My parents were married in 1930 and their honeymoon trip was camping trip to Yellowstone from Iowa. my Mother was not pleased. Scrapbook has picture of the makeshift tent and Dad patching one the 3 flat tires they had.

Boji, I can relate. I was a camping, hiking, backpacking enthusiast in my younger days. Shortly after we married I took my bride camping in a state park. Pitched a tent, cooked dinner, and crawled into our sleeping bags. Later that night came one of our typical unpredictable spring Texas thunderstorms. In addition to torrential rain it hailed, lightning and thunder, and gusty winds. The wind blew hard enough to bend the tent poles, but we stayed dry inside.
She’s never gone camping with me again and still tells about how terrified she was. Since then her idea of camping out is the Holiday Inn!
OC, some of my camp gear is probably in that book!

I did a lot of camping as a Girl Scout, one week was primitive to the point we had to dig latrines in the woods. The good side of that week was it was beside a lake.
About 40 years ago daughter & I tent camped from Iowa through MN and met up with her brother at the Canadian end of the Boundary Waters. He had been on church youth group canoe trip. Then spent 3 days exploring the MN north shore.
Rewarded the kids with Valley Fair on the way home.

Picked up this Joseph Kanon for a buck twenty five at "Dollar Tree". I have enjoyed a couple other novels by him, should be a good one.

I suppose I am, I had about 14 stitches put in my arm that day and they didn't want me to do much so I've been sitting and reading and it goes pretty quick. Most of the time it takes me a couple or three days to read a book of this size.

"The Crossroads" Joe Pickett novel #26 by C.J. Box. I'm about 35% into it on Kindle and so far the book is pretty good. I like it when I can't deduce the end until I get there, and CJ Box accomplishes that with this book.

I know that I will never be able to own one of these "Germany Awake" standards.
The next best thing that I can do, is read about them. Always a FASCINATING read.

Picked this up from a used book store. Very interesting. Mostly photographs (the author is a professional photographer) of life on a historic Texas ranch. The titular subject, Watt Matthews, was 90 years old when the book was published and had lived all but 4 years of his life (while attending Princeton University!) on the ranch. Still riding horses and working daily as foreman. (He lived to 98, his funeral was attended by over 700 people).
