Cold in SW MT, 0F right now with a strong wind. Wind chill has been severe the last few days, and not much snow on the ground.

Was 38 when I got out of bed and 63 in the house, but I just opened the front door hoping to lower
the temp indoors

Strong wind the last few weeks, but the temps have been normal or above and no snow. Not good for this time of year, some years we get a lot of snow in Feb. and March. 18F right now with wind. The equinox brings beautiful sunrises, looking forward to longer daylight.

Northern Minnesota has been mild for a few days now too and tomorrow we will probably lose the little snow cover we have. Yeah, that's not good. Hopefully we get some before the temps drop again.___Dave

It was mid-60s with a light south breeze this afternoon around 4, when the cold front hit. Lightning, thunder and rain. Strong north wind. Now it is 42 degrees and falling, with a 25 mph north wind, gusting to 40 mph.

Well.. The Weather Guesser are calling this "The Big One" .. Seems we may end up with 1-8in of snow by Sunday pm.. 1-8!!?? WOW!! I could see me telling my past customers that their bill will be between 100.00 and 500.00 to paint your room.. REALLY!! Guess it all depends how the crow flys!!

And the wife had to go to the grocery store last night and said it was a mad house.. I guess folks are worried they may never get out of their houses till spring.. The news people are getting folks so worked up about "The Big One" that they are past stupid..

OK.. If so, I know what I will be doing Sunday..

I always have to laugh at the people who raid the grocery store at the last minute before a storm and clean the shelves bare of TOILET PAPER!!

Just sitting around waiting for Winter Storm Harper to hit us with 3-8 inches of the white stuff and hoping that once again they miss the mark (on the low side of course).

OC.. In our neck of the woods its that along with 1-2 gal of Milk and a couple loaves of bread and 5lbs of Jumbo..
In my 60yrs I don't ever remember not being able to get of the house within 24hrs after it quit snowing..

Supposed to get down to 0 degrees and 4-8 inches of snow in Grant County Indiana.

Tick Toc, Tick Toc... Got the snowblower gassed and ready.. Still "Guessing" 1-8in or is it 10in?? Maybe 12in of snow.. Look into the crystal ball!! Teens on Monday but mid to high 30s/low40s by mid week..

I don't know how much we got but enough that I need to get off my dead rear-end and go fire up the snow blower. This coming week it's headed into overnight lows down in the minus range. Or at least that's what the weather speculators are speculating.

6:30 am and -11 below. stars are out. Bird bath still working. will have lot's of hungry tummies.

It is 34º here in central Texas and gonna be in the low 60s by the time the sun sets.

We've got a forecast high of 60 Ray!!

2 with wind chill -12.. We ended up with 2-3in of snow after a weeks worth of hoopla from the "Weather Guessers"... Putzs they all are..

You gut that right John they couldn't predict the next 10 minutes we were to get 18" big hupula cause most wheather persons are from boston or worst they panic instead we gut 6" with 2" of ice on top with 8 to -5 temps

It is about 10 below zero here in Sioux Falls this morning and we had a spectacular example of "sundogs" this morning. I used a paper plate to block the actual solar disc to get a better exposure of the two sundogs and the rainbow arcs to either side. It is likely to be somewhere around minus 25 here to night with wind chills dangerously low. Many schools in our area are closed because of the cold and windchill.

The "Weather Putzs" are working the people into another frenzy here.. Cold temps.. OH NO!!!! Breaking news.. ITS WINTER!!! Supposed to be in single digits and below 0 at night the next few days!! But 40s this week-end!!
