I wish it wouldn't have morphed. I like the clip/pen combo better.

Are you talking about the Camillus 72 with the cap lifter/screwdriver replacement blade? If so, it's still hangin' with the other 72's.woodwalker wrote: ↑Tue Feb 07, 2023 5:24 pmNice knife from a great guy to a great guy! How's the Franken knife doing? I was curious as to how thick the covers on this 6137 are. Though I couldn't get an accurate measurement, why not give it some pocket time? I sure would like to see Case trot out a 37 pattern in Micarta.

I do indeed, and it’s a new one to me, a five dot stockman (?). Some other bidder really wanted it, but I managed to get it in the end. Got me pretty good while I was giving it a quick clean and sharpen, but that’s how you know it’s love, right?
Re: Do YOU have a CASE XX knife in YOUR pocket today?????
I can't tell if it's an 18 or a 47, but it sure is a looker! And it loves you!

Carried this old XX USA whittler today for a walk in the woods. Great snap on all the blades, no wobbles, feels really stout for a smaller sized knife.

I'm not sure if this is the answer your are looking for. But the whole width is 3/8th's of an inch. The actual covers are 3/32th's of an inch. Aprox.

A beautiful old whittler!
Exactly what I was looking for! Eventually I'll get to measuring the 3137 or 4137.

Newer soddy jr. today. Don't expect it'll do much more than open a bag of snacks or cut through some steak for dinner but I'm ready for anything.
Everything's better with a Barlow

This Case 2318 PU CS has been getting a lot of pocket time lately as I like it for a fishing knife and the Shad are running. Pictures from earlier this week on the Cape Fear River. OH

A nice little Half Whittler in smooth "antique" bone for me today.
Re: Do YOU have a CASE XX knife in YOUR pocket today?????
This one gets carried in a sheath: a real favorite of mine, the 3137.

Realeye, that Case looks like a real oldie, cannot read the tang though - someone really used the blade. OH
