Just ordered this from KNIFEGUY78 on the Bay. I fell for the blade profile. Depending on how fast he ships, it should be here sometime next week.

I have a version that's essentially a variation on the Sharpfinger. I have to admit, I'm pretty impressed for the cost. I also used it to determine that yes, the Sharpfinger pattern is the right EDC fixed blade for me. Eventually, I will get a US-made Schrade that isn't totally beat to heck. I can save a few bucks and do without the sheath, as I have a battered gut-hook version around here somewhere that came with a sheath.

I saw this belt buckle and Sharp knife at a roadside flea market (just another roadside attraction ).
When I saw the Sharp was USA made and the Buckle was made in in Utah, I decided to get them both.
When I looked again at the buckle after getting home, I thought to myself...
... ....If tomorrow all the things were gone
I worked for all my life
And I had to start again
With just my dog and my pocketknife
I'd thank my lucky stars
To be livin' here today
'Cause the flag still stands for freedom
And they can't take that away
And I'm proud to be an American
Where at least I know I'm free
And I won't forget the men who died
Who gave that right to me
And I'd gladly stand up
Next to you and defend her still today
'Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land
God bless the USA!!!

That’s quite a patriotic statement Rich, but I can’t help noticing you said “dog and pocketknife “, singular. Do I understand correctly that you’re down to your last one?

Joe, I would look long and hard to find knives as fine as those you are showing at the flea market I go to.
Speaking of flea markets, I found this little folder at my last visit. 2 7/8" closed.
GARNATIE; SOLINGEN.

Well okay, but if you’re downsizing, somebody else needs to be upsizing, right?

Funny, I go to the flea market a few weeks back and nothing. Go to the same flea market last Sunday, and had a good day...
Got a couple nice Ulsters, an HS&B, Cattaraugus, and a CW Solingen.

Back in the olden times, I had a couple of original EKs, one from Mass. and one from FL. I was happy to find the latest version by KA-BAR.
