I picked this up in a trade. It's the only Viking I have.
The celluloid handle is certainly a funky color, kind of a metallic grape juice! Reminds me of the 60s!
That's a sweet one, Dale!

Nice knife Dale but the Celluloid scares me away from those deals.

On clearance at TSC for $7.49 it's very nicely made. Have to scan for the price because not all TSC have them marked as clearance but they should scan at the clearance price.

My brother and I went out to some local antique and pawn shops yesterday. He found a couple of Kershaw's
and I found this Eye Brand Whittler. Shield is NKCA 1996 #0474 1 of 1550. I would grade the knife in Excellent
maybe Near Mint condition. Also we discovered that at least around here the the pawn shops have very few knives
compared to what they had on a day to day basis around 3 years ago. If there is no rust or damage to a knife the
antique shop vendors seem to be asking what would be today's full retail. Maybe it's me and not them.

I buy a lot less from antique shops for that very reason... I used to go out looking for a bargain... not pay full price ...

1946-1973, someone else may be able to narrow that down more...

Picked up a Imperial Frontier Ireland Stockman on my lunch break today. Blades are full but discolored. I tried the number 2 pencil, but I guess the stains are there to stay. I seen it about a month ago and took pity on it today and brought it into the fold. I hear their pretty good knives. Anyone have one and know much about them? What year's made maybe. 60's or 70"s maybe? Thanks for looking at the old gal!

Here's a nice Wostneholm; celebrated; Sheffield.
It has a few warts but did I mention it's celebrated.
In case I didn't, it's celebrated.
