Thanks, Keith. It's very small. Less than 3".
In fact I'm going to put in a certain thread.

Very nice old Congess Whittler Joe! Does that long pull run right up into the tang? Don't recall seeing that before--very interesting. And on both sides of the master blade no less. Lovely yellow brown bone handles. And the same long pull running into the secondary or pen blade tangs? Wow and Wow! I like this one very much

!!

Thank you, Lloyd.
Yes, the pull runs through the tang on both sides of the blade.

I was updating my first response when you were responding but do both secondary or pen blades have that same long pull that runs into their tangs? Wonderful Whittler in every regard!!

The mark side secondary has the long pull through the tang. Only on the one side of the blade.
The pile side secondary has a nail nick.
I was confused by one of my pictures so I went and got the knife. I measured it while I had it out. It's only 2 3/4' long.
It was very finely made. Half stops on all blades. Very responsive, very smart little knife.
Thank you, Lloyd.

Some very nice and unusual Congress knives shown here. I only have one, a newer Case 62052 SS half-congress. I really don't ever see many of them. They would not be as plentiful as many other patterns. I need to find more, as it is a neat pattern.

This is a Queen #32 Congress in Winterbottom bone I recently picked up. The tang stamp indicates 1958-1960 production.

MB, those old cutlers knew how to make a Knife. That would be a pocket full.

Thats a great looking 12 blade congress Dimitri

... the fact it still has all 12 blades is amazing given how many always seem to have a snapped blade or 2 .... Also I thought my 6 blade congress was hefty - as Roger said that is indeed a pocket full and as you said lots of steel

...

Thanks Lee, very hard to find intact, though this one is missing it's shield, all the blades are present with excellent snap!
Here's some additional pictures

A couple of photos of a neat little half congress I picked up over the weekend at our local flea market for a few bucks. Unfortunately, there are no markings or tang stamp. The old celluloid handles will be going bye-bye. Maybe horn or stag would look good.

I rehandled that no name half congress with ivory paper macarta and in my pocket it goes. The old celluloid were really bad, just crumbling away.
