I agree...but these are going “Waynorth” of $300 on eBay. If you didn’t get one at release, I don’t think it’s worth it.Doc B wrote:Gorgeous knife! Love the shield and how they straightened out the edge. I'd have bought that one...but the other 97's didn't do it for me.JohnR wrote:Lucked in to one of Charlie's SFO's, beautiful knife, love the big shield. Get well soon Charlie!
This is the "Knivesshipfree" picture of my Sambar Stag knife. It is wonderful ! check out www.americanwhittler.com SFO 1 of 50 This is my favorite of the GEC#97 knives. I have 11 #97s in my collection. Treat your self to this knife. The antique yellow bone with hounds tooth shield is a winner !kootenay joe wrote:My email from KSF about Stag 97's came in at 1523 hrs. I did not see it until 45 minutes later and expected all would be long gone. But there were still about 15 ? left including one i rather like. Then even with my Slow Speed internet i was able to checkout successfully.
Did KSF receive a very large shipment ? Or is the demand slacking a bit as other dealers have had these for up to 1 week ?
