Here is another western states.I think it may be the first knife that I have showing signs of gassing.the scales seem to be showing more black color every few weeks .the liners and springs are black in color .I have been keeping it with a couple broken junk knifes for farther study on the destructive gassing effects of knifes stored together .so far no effects on the two knifes it is stored with .

Thank you for your keen eyes ! I now see the the discolored spot on the bolster I think you are referring to ..I will add it into the junk drawer
