I was referring to the letters in the 3 diamonds etched in the Schrade in the game before this one. J.O'.

I totally missed the Schrade. I have no idea what the meaning of the "u n c" blade etch is.

Not Fields. Could be one of a half dozen makers over more than a hundred years. Still around under a different name and selling American made brands under the various makers' names J.O'.
