Picked up a couple of knives at the SMKW Store. They had quite a few more knives in the " vintage" knife section than they did last year. Gilbert Cooper had a section with some of his new S&M and weed brands, also had some his group put together from parts he got at the Queen sale. I bought one of them and a Ontario.

Took some photos of knives that are for sale but some of the Remington got lost or didn't take. They had several of the reproduction bullet knives and some that I believe to be old original ones for sale.

Hi all! New to the forum. I’m Jake. I’m a hobby knife maker but today I was cleaning out my shed and found these pocket knives that I was given by my neighbor after his father passed. Some J.A. Henckels, some Voss Cut Co. and some Franklin Mint. The only one I cannot find anything on is the knife with the I assume fake ivory scales and the eagle scene.

Finally got around to photographing my pick ups from the Pigeon Forge show!

>1st; a Queen #23 barlow with a dink in a bolster, otherwise in good shape and clear etch.
Came with a box. Traded a little Queen peanut with etch for it ....
>2nd is a Camillus 72 Yello-Jaket, near mint I think, with 2 etched blades. My first true 72!
>3rd a Cattaraugus single blade, spear and swedged, long pull, with crisp snap and half stop.
She's an absolute bell of the ball ! !

No.... KNIFE FINDS OF THE DAY :x .....

I went to a pawn shop yesterday and I was told that I COULD NOT use a loop for magnification when I went to look for a maker's mark on a knife and the young lady became a little testy when I explained it was because I could not see very well  She said the policy was because "it takes up too much time" to use the loop.... ::facepalm:: ... ::hmm:: Uhmmm Americans with Disabilities Act.... ::shrug:: how is that going to fly .... ::shrug::

I thought the shop was there to sell things and make money? ::shrug:: I guess I am just an idiot. ::cb::

::handshake:: I thank our wonderful modern day ed-u-macation system that Gov't workers have perfected ::hmm:: I remember a few years ago I used to go every few days to a pawn shop and bought a lot from them. Most of the people working there were in their 20's and I was friendly with one of the guys there and he told me one some of the other salespeople resented me because I came in and "bought up all the good stuff and didn't give other customers a fair chance to buy the items".

::uc:: Sorry, I thought the idea was to SELL the items that they put out for sale and the store would make money in turn and be able to PAY them money to work there. That is what I get for being stupid.... ::cb::
