Probably so, but it’s supposed to be back to the upper 60’s by Tuesday! It rarely stays cold very long here. I do have a couple of pairs of longjohns though. They’re identical except for the color - the red ones are warmer than the whites.

Since I made that earlier post it has now started snowing. Gotta love Texas weather!

Here in DFW we had 70's yesterday, tornado warnings last night and snow flurries this morning. Climate change!!!!

I love Texas, despite the weather sometimes.

70deg, cloudy, breezy.. 50 for the high on Sunday and sunny if their guess as of now..

Wow Dave, that's a eye-opener for me. Thought Texas never got much in the way of snow, changed my outlook on that .
Cold, blowing snow all the way home from Regina gun show trip, by the time we hit Melville it was perty much whiteout, and getting dark fast. We made it home a-ok, lucky we left town early, otherwise it would've been tough driving in the dark, -30 cel. windchill, and buckets of blowing snow.
At least trip was a success for dad, bro, sis, and not to mention super happy, new pistol me .

The Texas Panhandle gets snow almost every winter, not so true around the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Here in Ponder Country it was almost all gone by 5 PM. Those pictures were from about 8 AM.

Good Sunday Morning Everyone.

Big winter storm up here in the Northern plains. All the schools are closed for miles around. Snowing heavily, about 18 degrees, some wind. It has already snowed around 4 inches since 7 this morning and will continue on til noon tomorrow, per the weather guestimaters. Will be staying inside today, have knives to work on and ammo to reload.

Here between the DFW metro-mess and the Oklahoma border, it seems like about once every three to five years we get a snowstorm of about three to 6 inches. The snow lasts about two or three days before it all melts. Occasionally with about equal frequency we get an ice storm, with the ice lasting a day or two. When I was a kid we didn’t have sleds (or ice skates) so when it happened we made do with cardboard boxes and such ingenuity.

About 8 inches of snow here in last 24 hours, not snowing now, but wind is recirculating the old stuff. Temp at 4 degrees, hope the snowblower will start.

Started off with 2in snow this am.. We got snow, snow sleet, sleet now rain.. And that all happened in 30min.. Wonder whats next??

It snowed last night...I saw it coming down. Here's this morning's picture, to prove it. San Antonio be like...We gotta work today?

We got a similar snow here in the Austin area. Odd thing is that when it melted off there musta been about 10 pounds of West Texas dirt on my car. So, part of Midland/Odessa came with the snow fall.

Just before noon today here in Sioux Falls, it was 34 degrees. Now at about 5PM it is 4 degrees, on its way to an overnight low of about 18 below. About a 50 degree drop in 18 hours or so.
