I was hoping this beer would be similar to the cask Spotted Pig Bitter that Brooklyn once made for April Bloom's restaurants. It was the best beer I have ever tasted. But this one reminds me of a Sam Adams, which is not so terrible.

Good picture, John, and some nice "lace" on the glass.

Enjoyed this last night, Kroger had these and several others on sale for a buck a piece the other day. I like it but sure wish Diageo would bring back the black lager.

Thank you to all who keep drinking Diageo products.
I am still holding a few shares. Even though they are worth far less than they were.

It was a warm one today at the farm, so instead of Guinness I went Lite.

Nice pic, John.
Ireland is better looking than Captain Quint. Quite the "cat house" you got there!

At The Birchmere to see Junior Brown, I had to try this one. I left my Switch at home.

I have no idea who Junior Brown is, but I have had Sucker Punch pickles before. How does that concoction taste?

Country guy who had a few hits in the 90โs. Deep voice and played a custom made โguit-steelโ steel guitar hybrid.

Coley got it on the preformer; Junior is 74 but he's still got the playing talent and deep voice. His band, of which his wife is in, has an amazing drummer and stand-up bass player.
The beer nosed and tasted like pickle juice brew, Ike. I liked it, but I also like dill and sweet pickles. Sweet hot pickles are my favorites.

My sister had some Ol' Smoky moonshine pickles that were pretty good too.
My wife had never been to the Birchmere or seen Junior, but she had a great time.
