Looks like some really good projects KJ! Especially like the 2nd, 4th, 6th, and 7th from the top. ::tu::

For sure. The large dagger blades are more like short swords . The Damascus blades look to be good quality, tangs of normal steel wielded on. I generally think a technique employed to avoid wasting Damascus. That’s usually not a concern with cheap damascus. But it’s hard telling.

Awesome Robeson bolster lock! They are possibly the originator of the bolster lock. ::nod::

Sweet group of project blades, can wait to see what you do with them. 💯

Against My Better Judgment, Part 2- I also picked up 3 knives from the recent Voyles auction. ::mdm::

Found a True Temper Jet Rocket hatchet at a local junk shop near the house today for $20 (not exactly a steal, but still fair value). Looked beat up, but was functionally pretty good. Didn't take me long to put a decent edge on it by following old sharpening/grinding marks. Already to put it work on its first job.

Will need to purchase a sheath for it though, unless I can make my Estwing's cover work for now. Definitely going to be my go-to for now.

Monster Ratchets Folding Knife, which only cost me ten bucks. Bought on impulse at my local knife store today to cover for the fact I accidentally left my normal folder at home.

Company basically tried to be Harbor Freight with Snap On's distribution model--most tools were made in Taiwan, but they also had some rebranded Knipex. Rumor has it that they were sued by Monster Energy over the name and green paint scheme.

The knife is a Ken Onion design made in Taiwan by CRKT , and was a limited edition of 5000. Just under 4" closed with an AUS-8 blade. Seems to be on par with most entry level CRKTs. In addition, most other places were asking $20-25.

Bridgeport Gun Implement Bowie Hunter purchased from Scott. Remington muskrat, mint Imperial, brass match safe/compass, & brass match safe came from a gun show. The Remington cost me a whopping $5 as did the Imperial.____Dave

Thanks, hunting is fun when you bag some good ones. Got this handmade unmarked knife to today. A bit crude but I found it appealing

Just pulled the trigger on this Jet-Aer 805. It matches my Jet-Aer barlow lockback. Hoping it looks as good as the picture.

Was on lunch earlier today and dropped by the thrift store and they had this one there. Passed on it and then went back to work and googled a bit on it. It's the Economy line with a date range on that particular stamp as 1973 to 1977. Went back on break and bought it just now. I like the stamp. Not Victorinox or Wenger. Elinox. I'm a sucker for swiss army knives. :)
