That would make it a Standard, then.

The broken fire steel seems to be a big problem on these old Brownings.

Went to a local shop and traded a Case Earth Brown G-10 Trapper I didn't want and $15 for these two.

Camillus #11 Coal Miner (price sticker said $35)

With my Granddad having been involved in the mining industry for nearly 25 years before he retired (1975-2000), I had to have this one. It's also a mystery, as I can't say I've seen this one before. Most have wildlife in the enameled shield.

I have never seen this one before. When I first looked at it, I assumed it was an American Wildlife issue, but in the place of the shield is the Comfo Cap, pickaxe, and coal scoop.

SwissBuck Trekker by Wenger. $15.

It was absolutely nasty, but after getting all the gunk out, I doubt it had actually been used that much, but just wasn't cleaned. Blades are still sharp, and the handles show little wear.

My other SwissBuck (Globetrotter) was so bad, it was a paperweight.

Just received today, Remington RH-46 Hard rubber handle fixed blade , near mint with some very light scratches.I believe made during the Dupont years and only made for a couple years.

Looks like a tourist knife, or commemorative knife. Would need a translation of what it says on the covers to determine what tourist site, historical event, person, etc it’s about. Likely of low value unless whatever it’s about has some significance to the knife’s owner.

Welcome Peter. I tried to enhance it a bit and rotated it a bit.

Not sure exactly, but it looks Russian to me. That's about all I can give you. Oh, and it does look pretty old.

I would post it in the "Knife lore" sub-forum. There are some very knowledgeable people over there.
