Thanks TMK I am super happy with how that Remington feel in my hand. Ready EDC ... I was also happy 'bout the Queen, it's a 1935-55 from the tang stamp in M.O.P. scales. Most of my Queens are from 1960 on with the majority 1970 and latter.

sweet! Looks like a big 'Ol R&R lock back, I have had my eye on one of those for a while. Also... what is about the value of that AK-47 bayonet? I think they have gone up the past few years.... used to be real cheap back in the olden days....

Tony, what are the models, at the back/sitting on it's spine/blade open to it's half-stop (45 degrees?)/pea-soup green covers/left of the RRR tube, and, the model at the very front/lockback/black covers/blade sitting on the nylon sheath? Thx man!

Thanks TopDog, bayonets are currently selling at $50 up to ridiculous prices, depending on type, origin, etc. The one pictured is a Type 1 European with the frog. It and the Bulldog will be for sale soon in my eBay store. The RRReserve Clasp is not a locback. It is a half stop slipjoint. I would keep the Bulldog if not for the celluloid. This one shows some very minor signs of gassing.

Mark, the one left of the RRReserve is a China made Gerber 0731222A Half Stop Scandi Spear Point. Like the long nail pull ... going in my EDC rotation.
The lockback in front is a China made Browning 111D Drop Point ... weighty and beefy ... also going into my rotation.

They had pretty good celluloid, Tony. I have a few 80 year old knives with celluloid that are still fine. I have a few though that I can't say that for. But, when it works, it can look really great!

CxIII, take a look at some of the celluloid threads (there are a bunch of them ) Some members have commented that the German celluloid seems to out gas more than other makers. I have had a couple of German celluloid go bad. I have a Frank Buster that blew out on me a little while back along with a Bulldog.

I keep them on a shelf in the open away from any other knives. I also carry them as they are no longer mint .... so maybe the out gassing was a good thing ... otherwise, they would have stayed safe queens

The rule for celluloid seems to be "You gotta' keep 'em separated"

Got this sucker doing some old fashion "horse-trading" Feels like a Western .... no markings.... Any ideas out there from the experts?

Found a nice 1993 Buck 303 Stockman today. It has been used, but not used up. Not a steal, but I got it at a better-than-eBay price.
It is just a tad small for my taste, but I don't have enough Buck knives yet.

Reverand, I find any Buck pocketknives under the 301 size to be small for my big hands also.
But, there is something that attracts me to them ... black and silver for one thing ... classic knives another.
