Ok, I made my stupid comment, now let me say that I fully agree with the recommendation from Iman. I picked up a decent Catt 3 or 4 years ago with some paint on the bone scales. A little oil, and a wooden toothpick and into the display case it went.

Some of the other new pick-ups for my "Bone Yard" .... ::hmm:: Two Remingtons in addition to the Voos. The whittler has a quite a bit of pitting on the main blade but the blades are tight, no wobble and the bones are w/o cracks .... good enough for EDC... ::hmm::

That's three great knives right there, TOPDOG!

Iman is right, a sharpened wooden stick, I use a chopstick, and lighter fluid is what I use to clean paint from handles..
