All About Pocket Knives

Well... It looks like winter has settled in early this year. Kinda' melted the other day, then froze right back up .
In for a long one me thinks.
Oh well, at least the last 5 years were good runs of well into November bare dirt. Can't have too much of a good thing, I think .

At least we got Coffee, Cat's, Knives, Books, God's word, treadmill, and a bajillion other things to keep busy. And that's perty much enough for this ole boy to handle in a day anyway .

I've been praying for cooler/cold weather, send some this way!

16F this morning with about 5 inches of snow, I bet above 6,000 feet there is a lot more snow, we are right at 5,200 ft.

Overcast and low 40's with a chilly breeze, but a nice morning for a walk.

Here is a pic I took this morning headed back to the homestead, those peaks are over 10,000ft, we live in the forest to the right.

Now the guessers are saying were in for a warm spell.

That is some great looking country, Kris. That weather beats the heck out July and August heat and humidity in S Illinois, plus no ticks, chiggers or mosquitos. It also beats the heck out of S Illinois right now, rain and a chilly 40 degrees, my opinion of course and it means little

Going to be wet and cold here in Ponder Country.

David, you are colder than us this morning, we are at 43F. As Willy stated, a weird warm front is coming through, 60 by Saturday. It was -20 in a few of the local towns the other day.

That is weird, seeing that you're much higher in elevation than we are.

Started off at 37 again today, but we're getting a little warmer.

Well the rain finally stopped after 3 non-stop days and its REAL foggy now and 30deg.. Supposed to see some sun today sometime.. Calling for rain tomorrow then the rest of the week sunny.. I will believe it when/if it happens...

Going to be a great day around here.

Clear and sunny 50 degrees here this morning, but headed to the 20's tonght

Sooo.. We did have a nice sunny, cool day yesterday.. That was good for the trick or treaters.. Now its raining REAL HARD and cool.. Hopefully the "Guessers" got it right for the rest off the week.. Warming and sunny all week.. We will see???

It's going to be another nice day around here. All this week we are
