We did last night, but it didn't stick. I had said it would snow pretty close to Halloween, and it did.

Stepped out my front door and took this picture just now. Everything about it says fall, and I would expect to post a nice, crisp 45ish degree on a November 8 morning. To the contrary, it is already warm and headed to 78 today, feels like early summer.

First white stuff of the season.

You've got icicles hanging from the roof, we have a severe tropical thunderstorm warning with temps above 80 degrees. I just looked up the weather bureau site and you can see the storms coming.

After having a couple of inches of snow 2 weeks ago which completely melted, today is what I would consider our first winter storm. We have 3-4 inches on the ground now and 24 degrees. Fortunately no wind at this time. Real sticky stuff, already broke one snow shovel trying to get it moved. Forecast is for more tonight.

Gorgeous evening, on my northern stand, here in south Texas. 72 degrees and a very light wind, in my favor. Watched 4 doe and 3 fawn this evening. One fawn practically walked under me.

Still unseasonably warm and breezy, in the 50's today. Some "Edgar Degas like" clouds moving in early this morning, rain forecast tomorrow.

Nice pictures guys. Here in Ponder Country we are at 61 degrees and heading up to around 77. You would think it is Spring already.

I was hurriedly putting my recent post together, before I stepped into work this morning. I wanted to come back and acknowledge the fine picture you posted, Doc. It reminds me of some of the terrain I have seen on "Lone Star Law", definitely different than the hunting in the Midwest. Hope to see more photos.

Currently in Ponder Country it's 44 degrees going up to around 58. Wind is out of the southwest at 10 mph.
90% chance of rain and thunderstorms later this morning and afternoon.

Well it looks like our luck has run out.. Calling for the white stuff Tues/Wed.. 1-3in.. YUK X 1000000000.. I HATE winter...
