I sure like that Moore Maker. I had a yellow bone handled one like that and sold it. Wish I hadn't.

Picked up this Puma White Hunter at the flea market , trying to date as I've read serial numbers on the guard , there are two marks that could be an eleven but they don't look like the font of other numbers I've seen.

I scored these two today. The first is the Colonel Coon canoe which is this month's giveaway knife. Thanks to Gone2Three! The second is a Queen-made S&M gunstock with worm groove bone. I wanted to ask you guys, what is the term for the bolsters on the gunstock. All three sides are beveled as I've shown in the pics. Are they called coffin bolsters? Made for a super good lookin knife in my book.

The gunstock I mentioned above. Hard to tell from the pics but all three sides of each bolster are beveled.

Any idea what they call the shape of those bolsters? My other gun stock by the same Maker doesn't have that shape.

I've seen the rear one sometimes referred to as a type of "Square" bolster, and the front one referred to as a type of "Threaded" bolster.
I'm sure there are some here that will know exactly though. I know enough to be dangerous!
