All About Pocket Knives

Back from my Missouri trip and here are a couple of pictures showing all the knives I purchased. In my opinion sellers are asking too much on the traditional known brands such as CASE and Buck and even on some little known brands just because they think they are "rare." Also there are over a dozen antique shops along IH 44 (Old Rt. 66) that we always shop at and the availability of pocket knives is no where near what it was a few years ago. I also picked up some watches that my youngest son can repair or use as parts maybe.

Nice haul buddy. I too am experiencing slim pickins at my usual stores. Hoping this estate/garage sale season is a fortunate one.

Are those wood handled ones Mam brand? I've been looking at buying one, wondering if its worth the cost, which isn't much.

The two in the second picture are Opinel look-a-likes. The barrel doesn't twist, it is what they call a "Reverse Liner Lock."
The shape, feel and size is just like the Opinel #8 and the listed retail price is around $23.00. The handles are beechwood and they are made in China.
On my trip I saw one for $8, bought it and then later saw another in a different shop for $6 and bought it. In doing my research on them I found where you could buy them online. If you want to see more of them go to https://knifeworks.com/main-knives

The stag is beautiful but my pictures don’t show it unfortunately

I picked up these two today, one marked U.S.A, the other "MADE IN USA". Great snap on both.

Went to an auction today and landed this 4 dot Buck 110. I would expect a person would have needed to have been a pretty good customer of Champion spark pugs to warrant a free advertising knife.

It’s wore a lil on back and all I can see is the last 2 which is 75. So I would assume it’s a 5375.

Beautiful, 1917-1932, 2-1/4", Meriden Knife Co., for Miller Bros., Masonic Gent's knife with 10-K gold bail and insignia, Pearl has no chips or cracks. Blades slightly stained, should polish up nicely. Any Masons or Masonic collectors interested. PM me. J'O'.

10-4, 75 would be a large stockman, one of my favorites to carry, 4 1/4 inches closed length.
The next size down is the pattern 92, it has a closed length of 4 inches, hard to tell from a picture.
