Re: KNIFE FINDS OF THE DAY
I got this tool kit yesterday. I'm going to give it to my son. He spent some time in Paris a few years back.
No makers mark. Anybody got a clue who put this thing together. Thanks.

Re: KNIFE FINDS OF THE DAY
I see those every once in a while and there's just something about them that draws me to them. I think they must have "like me" pheromones all over them. Do you know, are the scales celluloid?
Nice find BD8B. Was that online or someplace local?

-I picked up this old "the ideal" knife at a yard sale recently....had a little carbon peppering which cleaned up pretty good. They were cheapie knives made back in the mid 1900`s but this one still has nice blades and tight "shell handles" and surprisingly sharpened right up. I kinda like it for what it is.

Here is another recent find. Nice ole John Primble with milled liners. Anyone have a guess to the maker? Thanks again....

Nice knife Bob.
(iirc) a star on the pile side tang is a Boker U.S.A.
Schrade also made knives for Primble.
Either way it's a great garage sale find.

trutemper,
I have one similar, but not a clean as yours.
They sure have nice jigging though, don't they.

Re: KNIFE FINDS OF THE DAY
Finally found a vintage Puma fish knife in box. I've been looking for one for about a year and a half now.
Pocket, fixed, machete, axe, it's all good!
