I am relieved that mine finally showed up and I am very happy with it. A very nice knife in every way.
Thanks to Ken and Roger.
I had an Ebony covered one so I got the jigged bone this time. It sure is nice.

John and Joe you guys did a wonderful job with the photos. My pair arrived today too, but I won't even attempt to post pics of them after seeing how well you two did. Suffice it to say I'm very pleased with both of mine. They are super knives.

Mine should be arriving this week, barring any issues at the USPS. I am very encouraged by your photos of the finished product, Tom, can't wait to get my pair!

Reading the posts here i can actually feel the enthusiasm that this knife is delivering. Makes it hard to resist.
Quote "They made it in a 2 blade also"
Might the current Maher & Grosh also be bringing out the 2 blade version ? With the same handles they would make a royal 'set'. And those of us who love 'slender' will have to have one.

KJ,
I like the path you are on here!
Roger - Ken....Could be the next available knife right out of the chute...I'm in for one of each with the two blades!

It will be awhile before they make that pattern, but when they do there will be a 2 blade. We already have the book marks made for it.

That is, they arrived after their little trip through the Bermuda Postal Triangle.
Their voyage is listed below on my USPS Tracking History.

This is an excellent development! Having CF&CE the bone and cocobolo whittlers this week/weekend, determining which one I am going to end up carrying has proven to be a difficult decision!

What is undeniable is that the workmanship, F&F on these knives is outstanding and that they are a pair of beauties!
Here's a pic of the bone version from my knife-dump photo yesterday:
Roger, the felt bag that shipped with my cocobolo knife has begun fraying at the corner by the drawstring openings - is there a way I can order one in this style to replace it? I can probably put a stitch in the current one and still use it for carrying knives but I'd like a "clean" one just in case. Let me know where to send the check!

Look here what showed up in my mailbox today!
Apparently there were only a few of these Whittlers done with the smooth Red Bone and I was fortunate to grab one up!
I love this pattern. Thank you Roger and Ken!

Am I not on a mailing list or something??

Nice knife but I'm anticipating howls of disappointment from those of us who had no idea it even existed.

Those are pretty cool covers, Tom.

It's not what you fellas think....I am nobody special and neither were these knives. There just happen to have been a few left over that the manufacturer threw some smooth red bone on.
I have bought one of every knife Roger and Ken has produced and I will continue to do so as long as they have them made. Might be why I was able to get one. I am not a huge fan of the red bone, however, I do love the Whittler pattern.

I think it looks GREAT with the smooth red bone but i know it would not be possible to convince you to trade it. I am sure it has special significance to you and of all folks here, you deserve it.

Tom, very nice! If I remember right Roger told me there were 5 of the red bone made with leftover parts. I got one also but will have to wait until I'm home with some daylight to take pictures.
These Yankee Whittler's are definitely my favorite knife of 2017.
