Back when my brother lived in his old house he used to host a hot rod party once a year for all of his car buddies. It usually coincided with the cities annual hot rod cruise. Here's a few of the cars that showed up at his house:

....and this one, I guess it doesn't really belong here but the name Pierce Arrow is a major one in transportation history.

Most awesome rides y'all have been sharing! Just warms this wrenchers heart.
Must awesome shows Jeff, Ken!
These guys have good taste in wheels, they
absoltuely make-or-break your rod. For example, my all time #1 is the '69 Z/28, with the regular rally sport wheel. Back in those days, GM knew how to make a performance car, that looked great! Pontiac's rally wheel is a close second. And not surprisingly, black steelies with nice caps, are a go-to.
Ma square's needs to be cleaned and painted, 35 odd years use does take it's toll. Even thou it has a hair under 110k, and never seen salt; gravel is extremely hard on a vehicle. Clean, paint, & hard-waring clear coat. Should last for another 35 years...
Good stuff!!!

The Chrysler Turbine is an iconic car to us nerds. It was about 50 years ahead of it's time, and multi-fuel engines haven't caught on yet (they d**n should by now!). Toyota is trying, but people freak out when the word
hydrogen gets mentioned. For peat sake already! All it is, is distilled water, that they run a electric current through, and it converts it to electricity. That's all.
A regenerative power system, (water splitting to vapor/electricity, then back to purified water). The "emission's" it produces, is pure water. Such a cool system!
And, there's no need for the massive battery packs, found on electric cars. Just need a small one to power the generator, that's it.
Now that Merc has partnered with Israeli engineers, to develop their new Unimog, we'll be seeing allot more of this tech coming. Heck, V-dub has absolutely proven the concept with dare I.D car. That thing is stupid amazing!
Smashing Pikes Peak, that really helped to get us car nerds on board.
