Thank you buddy, ::handshake:: I always appreciate your comments! But, are you certain it's the knife on Page 2/5,6. and not from Page 3 or 4/5,6.? Because the one you said has a spear blade, actually has a gentle sheepsfoot with an odd grind that I don't recall the name of but it looks like heavy, heavy patina on the top false edge, and white covers. I'd have thought the examples on Pages 3 or 4/5,6. would be more to your liking. Perhaps I'm wrong. ::shrug::

Was down going thru a few things in the shop and found this knife . It’s a well built piece,4 inches long . Did a brief goggle search and Passion France listed it as the London w / Ram horn covers . Has a very strong snap no blade slop or wiggle. Overall very nice knife .
Might have to put it to use.

You call that a sheep foot? Well I have never heard of a sheepfoot with that kind of slow curving spine. Or a sheepfoot with belly curve on the edge, but whatever you call it I like it. Great blde with that scale left on it.

Pretty nice london knife. Looks like manufactured by Le Sabot, I used to have the exact same in stock. Pretty solid and substantial piece. Sharpens pretty well too, and definitely a user 👍

So, we have determined that the knife you meant IS the knife you meant and not a mistake, good. As I have mentioned many time, my knife knowledge is sorely lacking, so when I see a blade configuration like the one we're talking about it looks like a sheepsfoot to me. Let's not even mention lambsfoot, that's a whole new animal. Your eye will always spot things on any knife that my eye won't, I was simply trying to get us both on the same page regarding the knife in question, but it seems we were already there and I just didn't know it. Actually, now that I had another look, I'm in complete agreement that the blade doesn't much look like any sheepsfoot I've seen, my apologies my friend, it seems that not only has old age creeped into my ole' bod, but my eyes too. I'm glad you like it all the same, I-man, and a long as I have your ear, is that what the dark rough areas on the blade is called, "scale" ? Thx!

Yeah, that's the one. Beautiful blade. Loooooooooove the blade shape actually, with that sloping spine, ample point, and slight belly or curving edge. I assumed the "heat treat scale" was what we are seeing, but I could be wrong. Maybe it's something else but it looks like the scale left on the blade like is common to Nortwoods folders, their rustic line, with heat treat scale left on. Cool handles too, are they bone? I like that one, and thanks for the clarification. No apologies necessary, just clarifying and discussing, I didn't mean to take issue with you, just figured there was a slight misunderstanding of terms which is no problem, happens often. But we got it now. Thanks again for the mention.

Yes sir, it wasn't the 1st. and it wont be the last time there is some confusion between the spoken and typed word, at least we can amicably work things out. ::handshake:: That's interesting information regarding that scale material that I was unaware of, but I can't decide whether I like it or not. I would think that some will like it some won't. I believe the covers are white camel bone, but I could be wrong. You are posting some terrific knives lately, bud, I love viewing them! ::tu::
