I agree John, but at least we don't have the snow and ice like most of you folks north of the Mason Dixon Line.

Here in the P'ville area, the temperature just came up to 28º. It had been a degree colder for hours. We have plenty of ice with some trees down in the area and power out to about 30 or 40,000 in Travesty county. The Bluejays skidded when they came in to get their peanuts and milo this morning. The doves seemed to do better. I haven't seen hide nor hair of the squirrels yet today, or of the sparrows.
Snow is on the way for Sunday and Monday.

This just can't be North Texas!
They're calling for 3 to 7 inches of freezing rain and snow through Monday.

Snow mixed with sleet, 15 mph north wind. 12 degrees F. We’re likely in for a rough week. Not forecast to get above freezing until Saturday with another snow event coming Wednesday. Kinda reminds me of a week I spent in Chicago some years ago. Just praying we don’t lose power.

Willy, we’re blaming it on you. If you would have roped it and tied it down good when you had it up there, it wouldn’t have got loose and came here!

It is 23º here in P'ville and I 'bout busted my tuckus going out to feed the birds. It is supposed to stay this way until Saturday and we'll possibly get some record amount of snow during the cold spell. Our utilities in this neighborhood are all underground so I am not too concerned about losing power. There are a lot of folks in Austin who have been without power for several days now.

We’re done for for several days. Last night we had freezing fog and the roads are iced over. Today and tomorrow we’re supposed to have almost a foot of snow!

Ken can we call this weather an illegal entry since it crossed the border?

A month ago we could have. Even criminals and terrorists are welcome now. They’re not even checking for diseases.

Just took these pictures off my front and back porch. This small electric gage is reading
11 degrees with 62% humidity, but Mickey says is about 3 degrees and the snow is still
coming down good. The wind chill is now a -9 degrees. The news says it will end later tonight,
but we have more on the way this Tuesday and Wednesday.

David, Looks like y’all are allowing the weather to keep sliding to the east!
I can’t imagine what will happen if that white stuff starts falling in the Florida Panhandle!
Y’all be safe.

Well there was some heading east from here. This is what our Mickey said just a few minutes ago.
